FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
Depending on your package and event, you will receive anywhere from 25 to 1,000+ edited images!
For weddings, we typically deliver 300-1,200 final images, including both black and white, depending on how many hours we are booked for, and on what events are planned throughout the day.
For standard sessions, this varies depending on the type of session, length, and how big of a group. We usually deliver 20-100 photos depending on these variables.
What’s the best time to have an engagement session?
Spring through early fall is the best time for natural lighting for engagement sessions as well as all other outdoor photography sessions. We are happy to work within your schedule and edit accordingly for sessions outside of these season months!
How do I pay my balance?
We are happy to accept cash, card transactions through Square, Zelle, or check. You will receive a message or an invoice with your balance when your payment is due for weddings. For standard sessions, you can request an invoice or payment reminder, but one will not be sent automatically.
What is your turnaround time?
For standard and mini sessions, you will receive your photos back within 4 weeks. This depends on the time of the year! We usually have photos returned within a few days, but during our busy seasons, we can have upwards of 30 sessions in one weekend.
For weddings, we will take a maximum of 12 weeks to edit your photos to perfection. We usually deliver galleries much sooner than this, but we want to plan to account for anything that may come up, such as holidays, vacations, etc. To hold you over those weeks, we send sneak peeks within a few days after your wedding!
How should we dress for our family session?
We are happy to give suggestions for colors and styles that will show up best on our cameras during different times of year. In natural lighting, we also suggest classic or neutral colors that will work best for the variety of people and different seasons!
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
We do our best to make sure all of our clients are comfortable with us before we start taking photos. We will be your cheerleaders because we firmly believe that everyone is uniquely beautiful in their own ways! Who wouldn't want to celebrate that?
If you still don’t feel confident after working with us, we can also offer additional editing and airbrushing so you can fall in love with your photos.
Can you help with designing our stationary?
We can help you! Our lead photographer has a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design as well as a Master's Degree in Fine Arts.
For an additional charge, we will customize your stationary and signage for your wedding to match any theme, color scheme, and style. If you are picky about colors or cannot find a template you are crazy about, this is a great option starting at only $40.00 with any wedding package.
What detail items do you bring to weddings?
We bring a variety of items for detail photos! Included with every wedding, we plan to bring a formal hanger, a metal trinket tray, a variety of ring boxes (6 total!), and other wedding items. We also bring different materials (such as veils) for these photos. If you have these items in advance for us, we will use your items instead! We choose items based on the style of your wedding when we get there, but you are also welcome to choose the items yourself and provide your own!
What comes with our packages
Turnaround Time
We do our best to get your photos back to you as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. All weddings will be fully edited and returned within 4-8 weeks of your wedding. You will receive sneak peek photos within 1 week of your wedding as well! Number of photos will vary based on your package.
For other sessions, your photos will be returned within 2 weeks of your session date. This is usually less, but during our busy season, we could have up to 30 sessions in only one weekend! This can cause us to need to take more time to edit.
Payments
25% of the final payment is due at the time of booking. Bookings can be rescheduled if needed due to weather, illness, or emergencies. Bookings that are cancelled do not receive their deposits back. Payment is accepted in cash, check, card, Zelle, and via Square App.
A payment plan for Wedding Packages only can be arranged in special circumstances.

Thank you for serving our communities in such important ways!
Discounts vary from service to service, but in general is usually $10 for standard sessions or 10% off of your package/service for a wedding session. For wedding packages, this would include a free engagement session.
